His father was in the military, and he grew up in Budapest, London, Palo Alto, Chicago, Virginia, Milwaukee, Dallas, Scottsdale, Washington DC, Princeton and Boston. Having traveled the world, he has forgotten as many languages as he knows. He has a bachelor's degree from James Madison University. He has over 35 years of extreme sports including snow skiing and solo rock climbing.
